Three Sisters Falls

Three Sister's Falls was one of my first major hikes. It is a short and steep hike that goes into the valley and up the falls. The temperatures are scorching here and hot sand burns dogs feet and dehydrates them causing more canine deaths per year than any other hike. There are also a handful of helicopter medivacs that take place here every year. Take caution on this hike. Bring lots of fluids and if you take your pet, be mindful that they are barefoot on the hot sand.

There is a nice water slide that can be used with caution; making sure to avoid rocks or other debris in the pool below. Also you can jump off the side of the cliff next to the top sister, but you should swim out and make sure the water is deep enough. Southern California has expereinced droughts over the past few decades, so be aware of the water and use common sense.

A bunch of PB bros

I am not responsible for injury, death or delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) caused by this hike. This is an advanced level hike, so maybe work your way up to this one with some smaller hikes such as the ones in the next few blog posts.
